Professional fragrance raw materials: diluted solid raw materials

When starting the diversion work using a high concentration of 100% undiluted monomeric fragrance,
It is necessary to understand the characteristics of the raw materials and then use solvents to dilute them.
Take the dilution process of solid diversion agent as an example to introduce.
※ We recommend that aroma chemical raw materials be handled by professionals who understand the characteristics and uses of the raw materials.

01
Prepare tools and materials

You will need:
Materials: [856] Vanillin 20g, [3011] Dipropylene Glycol (DPG) 5g,
Tools : Electronic scale [0.01/500g], Electric furnace, Stainless steel reagent spoon, Glass rod, glass beaker 25ml (2 pieces), 20ml transparent glass bottle , dropper , Mini Funnel

02
Weighing

Use a stainless steel reagent spoon to weigh 5 g of colorless solid [856] vanillin raw material and put it into a 25 ml glass beaker.

03
Weigh the solvent

Place the 25ml glass beaker containing [856] vanillin solid material on the electronic scale, then press the [T] button on the electronic scale to reset the electronic scale to zero, and finally add [ 856] Add 5g [3011] dipropylene glycol (DPG) solvent to a 25ml glass beaker of vanillin solid material.

04
Mixed

Use a glass rod and stir thoroughly to dissolve the solids.

05
Heating

In order to ensure that the solid raw materials are completely dissolved, you may use an electric heating stove. To prevent damage to the glass beaker, please use an electric heating stove with adjustable temperature.

*The adjustable electric stove in the photo is not for sale on Candle Element.

06
Finally put it into an empty bottle

Finally, pour the completely dissolved materials into the prepared 20ml glass bottle, You can use a mini funnel to pour it into the bottle conveniently.

07
Tag

Indicate the name of the raw material and the solvent used for dilution on the label to facilitate research.
