Unchanging beauty
Among the candles that have faded and turned white and lost their color,
those candles have brilliant and bright colors.
Did you know that candles also need UV protection?
Now, protect the color of the candle with a UV block.
01 Prepare ingredients
Supplies| UV absorber block, Oil liquid dye, PC mold 4.5 x 15.5cm, CW Soy Wax PB for Pillars / Eco Soya PB soy wax , Essential oil , No. 2 white cotton wax core , Mold sealant , Electric stove,Electronic scale,Glass rod,Stainless steel pot,Thermometer
02 lbsWax
Since the anti-UV absorber block accounts for 1% of the total amount of wax, 1 gram of anti-UV absorber block is measured each time, which is about 1% based on 100 grams of wax.
03 Mix UV absorber block
After measuring the wax and UV absorber pieces, place them together and melt the wax. Stir gently with a glass rod after the wax is completely melted to ensure the UV absorber is fully mixed.
04 Mixed dyes
Add the desired color dye to change the color of the candle.
05 Fragrance
When the wax temperature is 85 degrees, add 10g of sesame oil, accounting for 10% of the total wax, and stir evenly.
06 Pour into mold
Prepare a mold, insert the wax core and plug the wax core hole with mold sealing glue, and spray release agent inside the mold to make it easier to demould. After preheating the mold with a heating tool, pour the wax mixed with spices into the mold when the temperature reaches 80 degrees. (For details on how to use PC molds, see Making Pillar Wax.)
07 Separate from the mold
After the second pour is complete and fully hardened, separate it from the mold.
