How to use PC mold

Production 1. Insert the wax core and block the entrance with the mold sealer

After inserting the wax wick into the wax wick hole, cover the wax wick hole with a mold sealer to prevent hot wax from leaking.

2. Spray release agent

Secure the wax core and spray release agent inside the mold. The release agent creates a thin lubricating film that helps the candle separate well from the mold.

Production 3. Melt wax

Melt wax according to mold size and capacity.

Production 4. Coloring

Use fat-soluble liquid dyes, color blocks, and pigment chips to create the desired color for your application.

Preparation 5. Mix sesame oil

Although the temperature varies depending on the wax, add the sesame oil between 80-85 degrees and stir evenly for about 1 minute.

Production 6. Wax pouring

Based on the wax used for the column, pour the wax into the mold at a temperature of about 75~85℃.

Production 7. Fixed wax core

Using the wax wick clamp, gently pull on the wax wick and secure it in the center of the mold.

Production 8. Secondary pouring

When the surface of the wax hardens to a certain extent, pierce the wax core with a glass rod, etc., and pour the remaining wax into the blank space for the second time.

9. Remove the mold sealer

After the wax has completely hardened, remove the mold sealer before demoulding.

Production 10. Demold

After confirming that the mold has cooled, gently press the sides of the mold with your hands to create an air gap in the smaller shrinkage part. Remove the candle from the mold and clean the wax wick.
