Palmarosa is a plant with a mild rose-vanilla scent.
A hint of metallic, lemony and sweet floral,
reminiscent of fresh grass and geranium.

Suitable for blending into the middle notes of natural perfumes, such as rose, jasmine, jasmine and lavender.


Palmarosa belongs to the same plant family as citronella and lemongrass. Native to India, this herb has long, flat green leaves that smell strongly of lemon and verbena when rubbed. Palmarosa grows wild in the mountains of India and on the border with Afghanistan. The grass is dried for a week to remove moisture and then steam distilled to extract the essential oils.
