Product characteristics
- This product is a fragrance base for spray .
- When making water perfume, emulsification is indispensable. Please be sure to follow the established production steps.
- This product is composed of water-based ingredients, so if it is made with a solvent suitable for fragrance oil and an appropriate fragrance ratio, it can produce a water fragrance without separation.
- We recommend using only essential oils for preparation. <t381> t501>.
- If the fragrance is too dark, please note that it may cause the color to transfer to light-colored clothing.
- The clear water base fluid contains a variety of light-blocking auxiliary ingredients. Over time, these auxiliary ingredients may react with essential oils to form slight precipitates. This sediment is not foreign material, but if you want to keep it completely clear, strain it after mixing for a week and re-serve it.
- Depending on other brands of fragrances or products, some products may become cloudy when mixed. It is recommended that when producing finished products, please test a small amount before use.
- Due to the presence of natural emulsifiers to prevent ingredients from separating, some air bubbles may appear when the base is shaken.
- Maximum fragrance content 5%

White water base solution

It is an alcohol-free white water perfume base , allowing you to experience the pure fragrance of perfume.

White water base contains ingredients that allow even those who are sensitive to alcohol odors to enjoy the fragrance.
It has been deemed "hypoallergenic" through skin irritation testing,
using allergen-free essential oils allows for a milder fragrance with less irritation.

It is composed of water-based ingredients, so when produced with a solvent suitable for fragrance oil and the appropriate fragrance ratio, water perfume can be produced without separation.

Point 1. Product Features

The white water base is carefully formulated to contain UV stabilizers and antioxidants to protect fragrances that are susceptible to light and oxidative reactions. <t1872> (Not a common preservative)

Compared with alcohol-based fragrance, this product has no alcohol smell. You don’t need to wait for the alcohol to evaporate, you can
enjoy the fragrance. The pure fragrance of the atmosphere.

Point 2. Water-based type

There are two types of water-based base fluid: "clear water base fluid" and "white water base fluid".
"White Water Base" is a transparent liquid that can be used in perfume concepts to express the feeling of pure, clean water, while

"White Water Base" is a white suspension liquid that can Expressing a soft, milky fragrance concept.

Point 3. Skin allergy test

After hypoallergenic testing conducted by the OATC Skin Clinical Testing Center, the clear water base solution was determined to be a hypoallergenic product with an irritation index of 0.03.

* Generally, the fragrance ratio of light fragrance is 10-15%, but When using a non-alcoholic water base, please adjust the maximum fragrance ratio to 5% or less .

** Please refer to the IFRA document as blending ratios may vary based on the characteristics of the fragrance such as fragrance intensity and viscosity.

Point 4. Emulsification operation and production sequence

White water base is made up of water-based ingredients, so it must be emulsified when you add oil-based essential oils to it. Then it can be added to the flavor.

To make 50ml of perfume, mix 45g of perfume base, 2.5g of essential oil and 2.5g of liquid solubilizer.
Essential oil and liquid solubilizer are emulsified in a 1:1 ratio.

By adding an appropriate proportion of essential oils and natural emulsifiers, you can create a water-based perfume without separation. However, if the emulsification process is not perfect, the flavor may separate.

In this case, you can increase the amount of liquid solubilizer or try a different type of solubilizer.

Since each essential oil has different properties, we recommend conducting small batch testing before mass production.

* After Candleworks launched its first fabric spray in South Korea in July 2015,
launched a method to produce fabric deodorants using liquid solubilizers to prevent oil layer separation.

** For emulsification, please refer to "How to Make Perfume with Water Base Liquid" below.

Point 5. Capacity Options

The water fragrance base is available in 100ml, 500ml, 1L, and 5L capacities.

Point 6. Simply open the bottle with a bottle opener

When using 5L unit products, you can use a commercially available universal bottle opener to open it more easily than by hand.

Point 7. Tips on using refills

Turn the 5L container slightly to one side as shown and pour into a container with a funnel.
You can use refills quickly and safely by dispensing the refill bit by bit to allow air to enter the inlet.

Water Fragrance Base Q&A

Q1. When I add essential oils to the white water base, it becomes cloudy.

White water base liquid is mainly composed of water, and essential oils are oil components of non-polar molecules.
In their natural state, they have the property of separating rather than mixing together, so
when you add essential oils to a water base, the oil will disperse into small droplets in the water and appear cloudy.
To solve this problem, a solubilizing agent is used to stably mix the two ingredients.

Q2. I saw bubbles in the white water base solution.

White water base fluid contains a variety of shading auxiliary ingredients and natural emulsifiers, which contribute to the interfacial activity between water and oil (white water base fluid - essential oils). This naturally derived emulsifier is the least irritating type used in perfumes and cosmetics and has been tested for skin hypoallergenicity by certified agencies.

Q3. Can natural essential oils be mixed?

Due to the nature of natural products, natural essential oils may not dissolve, so when making perfume using a white water base, we recommend using only essential oils.

Q4.
Are there any exceptions that have changed over time since the creation of perfume?

If the emulsification process is incomplete, the following may occur.
- Use a clear water base, but it will turn cloudy over time
- Use a white water base, but it will turn clear over time
(When building a white water base , some oils may become clear immediately after manufacture).
- Formation of an oil layer the color of essential oil
- Formation of small water droplets in the perfume bottle glass
If this is the case, you may need to adjust the amount of liquid solubilizer or use a different solubilizer.

Also, because each essential oil has different properties, we recommend testing small batches before adding a clear water base and producing larger quantities.

Q5. Is the water-based fragrance as durable as the alcohol-based fragrance?

Water-based and alcohol-based perfume bases have different properties, so fragrance longevity may vary.
- The alcohol aroma base has a high concentration and evaporates quickly, so it will initially produce a strong aroma, but the aroma will gradually disappear over time.
- The water-based base liquid uses water as the main component and evaporates slower than the alcohol perfume base liquid, so the initial fragrance is relatively soft and the fragrance lasts longer.
However, since the water-based product does not contain alcohol, it is recommended to be used within 12 months at most after production.

How to make perfume with water base:

Preparation 1. Measure the sesame oil

Using a 50 ml glass beaker, measure 2.5 grams of essential oil. When using a non-alcoholic white water base, the maximum fragrance content is 5%.

2. Weigh the liquid solubilizer

Place the 50ml glass beaker containing essential oil on the scale, return it to zero, and weigh 2.5g of the liquid solubilizer. (Based on 50ml perfume output)
Essential oil (1): Liquid solubilizer (1)

Production 3.Emulsification process

Mix with a glass rod for at least 1 minute to thoroughly combine the essential oil and liquid solubilizer.

4. Weigh the water base solution

Weigh 45 grams of white water base into a new 100 ml glass beaker. (Based on 50ml perfume output, minus 2.5g sesame oil and 2.5g liquid solubilizer)

5. Mix essential oils into the water base

Add half of the essential oil and liquid solubilizer mixed in the 50ml glass beaker to the 100ml glass beaker containing the white water base solution, mix thoroughly, then add the remaining half and mix.

6. Fixed perfume bottle

Use a mini funnel to pour the finished perfume into the perfume container. Using the shoulder line of the perfume bottle as a benchmark, cut the nozzle diagonally, slightly longer than the bottom. With the 3-in-1 perfume bottle capping machine, you can easily assemble your perfume bottles. Alternatively, you can use the CW Spray Bottle Assembly Tool and secure by applying palm pressure from above.
