Wax Melt / Wax Tart Square Clamshell Mould 方形香薰蠟磚外殼

This is a wax cake shell that melts the candle without soot, allowing you to feel the scent. ^^

As shown in the picture below, please note that the protruding part of the casing is made of thin plastic, so the product is slightly deformed.

Use wax cake shells to create pastel-hued wax cakes!

Step 1. Prepare necessary materials

Wax can be prepared Golden Wax 464 (Ecosoya PB can also be used!), melt the wax Hot plate,
Scale and thermometer for accurate measurements, essential oils, prepare a plastic wax cake shell,
Prepare to make pastel shades of liquid dye.

Step 2. After measuring the wax

Weigh according to the capacity of the plastic tart shell, about 80g is appropriate.
After measuring, use an electric hot plate or hot pot to melt the wax.

Step 3. Add dye

Dip a toothpick into the liquid dye and add it to the wax.
The reason I used a toothpick dipped in dye is because the liquid dye sold by Candleworks is a very, very high-quality, high-concentration dye!
The concentration is strong even if you add just one drop using the supplied shampoo cap. Poke the melted wax with a toothpick like this.
Then, like a mist, the dye spreads through the wax. If you add the dye little by little like this, you can achieve the desired concentration.
The important thing here is that when the dye is added, it may be lighter in color when it hardens than when the wax is melted.

Step 4. Adjust the temperature

When cooled to 50-60 degrees, it is the appropriate temperature for adding essential oils.

Step 5. Measure the amount of essential oil and add

Measure 8g, accounting for about 10% of the wax, stir evenly and the fragrance will be uniform.

Step 6. Pour into the wax cake shell

Pour the evenly mixed wax into the prepared plastic wax cake shell.

If you weigh it as in the example above, you can put it in the case without spilling.
Instead of filling it up, it is better to put it in a small space like in the photo above, and it is better to take it out or store it later.

As the bottom hardens, the color becomes lighter.

Step 7. Take out the wax cake shell

Finally done! If you tap the six bottom sides of the shell alternately, the wax will come out neatly.

You only need to cut one piece at a time and use it when needed.
Put one on the aromatherapy lamp and light up the tea light!

If you look at the slowly melting wax cake, you will notice that the scent has spread throughout the room. :)
